One of our customers is an air compressor manufacturer. They needed a new crane for shipping purposes. With limited space and nothing to brace to, they needed a 15-ton crane with columns close to the building columns. The system had to be totally freestanding. The customer employed a contractor to install micro piles for the foundations. We built the support structure with cantilever beam/column connections, with no bracing whatsoever. This crane tested at 125% with no movement.

This photo demonstrates the start-up of a 3-ton top-running single girder crane for a molding application in a production room where the hook height was critical given the short ceiling height. The freestanding runway for this application was designed so that every bay was different to accommodate various size molding machines.
